Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check option sticker' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check option sticker' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm just wondering if have the sunroof delete option on an 03 C4S is something that many owners did? Being a no-cost option I would have thought many people would have decided to keep the sunroof, making a sunroof delete car a little most uncommon.
I've read quite a few posts over the years of people searching for a very long time for a sunroof-less car. Just wondering if the same goes for a 996?
I do know that the sunroof was standard for all 996's in the UK.
Asking because I'm in the process of purchasing an 03 C4S which doesnt have the sunroof.
I don't have the post at my fingertips, but I swear I remember reading a thread that indicated how many factory sunroof deletes existed. The number was tiny.
I have a 2003 UK C4S, although now registered in France. No sunroof in it and nothing on the option label to suggest it was special order. I seem to remember when I was looking for her in the UK (I only looked at C4S Models) there was about a 50/50 split on with/without sunroofs........must be different in the cold, wet UK
Mu uncle in-law purchased a new Silver C4s in 97. He's over 6' and wanted to be sure his helmet would clear. Ordered w/o a sunroof. Beautiful car with less than 20k miles today. I seriously doubt he ever thought it would be worth its purchase price again and at the time I remember he worried about not buying the sun roof for resale value. If I remember correctly he paid 82K for the car.
I Wouldn't Think that's a Plus! I Never understood the whole Delete thing anyway! WHY wouldn't it just list it as a Porsche WITH a Sunroof or IF it Doesn't have one just DON'T Mention it! WHY say Sunroof DELETE? This Also pertains to ANYTHING DELETE!
Also, IF you have a Porsche WHY Would you NOT want a Sunroof? I Could say the same about the verts but i've NEVER liked a Rag-Top on ANYTHING! They look good with it OFF, but when you put the Top UP, Not so Much! JMO!
Because race car (at very least) :-)
The sunroof brings the headliner over an inch lower diminishing precious helmet clearance. I'm 6'3" and think I'll need a special seat for the track given I have a sunroof. The mechanism is also heavy, and worse, it adds weight in the worst place. Imagine a mast on the car with a weight atop - easy to imagine the effect on handling.
