Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am replacing the rear brake pads on my '03 carrera 2 and don' know which of these two sizes to use. I do not have ceramic brakes. Catalog says they will both fit my car, but don't understand how that is. Any advice welcomed, Thanks

POST 2Original post

The two pistons in each caliper are different sizes. 28mm and 30mm is correct.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh, just like the front, but two piece. Thanks!

POST 4Original post

anyone know which is top v bottom (28mm v 30mm) on 99 c2 rear? yes, i can try both in each, but looking to save some aggravation

POST 5Original post

I dont remember and I did mine a few weeks ago. Youll know when you try to install them. If it wont go in, wrong size. If it is really loose, wrong size. If it fits, correct size.
