Very good question , I didn�t PPI the car at time of purchase , but I did when it arrived and the car passed ppi with flying colors , 100% original paint , it needed the windshield and the seller told me when he sold me the car that it needed to be replace , IMS has not be done , when we changed the oil we checked for any metal shavings and open the oil filter and no evidence of any metal shavings , we checked for cracks on the coils and they are all good , I did ordered also a passenger window regulator because it�s making a funny noise , I will be replacing the spark plugs Friday also since the car has 36k miles , the car does no need anything else for now , I will do the IMS when ever

Hey guys , finally pulled the trigger on my first 996 and I have to say , I like it .
The car is a 2002 c4s with 36k miles and it�s 100% stock , I am planning on changing the suspension next week 😀 I did
changed all the fluids and filters yesterday and added a set of hollow wheels I had put up for a few years that I removed from my 993 , here�s a couple of pictures of the car 💛 also did a major undercarriage clean up 😎
All I can say is...WOW!!!!!!

Thank you for all the kind words , I decided to flush the radiator and installed a new thermostat , also installed a new belt and bleed the brakes 😀 can�t wait til my suspension arrives 😎

Very very nice! If you haven't joined the LSR PCA Group, do so! Hope to see this beauty around town, if you plan to drive it. Will be on the lookout as not many 996s in any decent nick exist in Houston I've found. Bring it to MSR Houston for some track days so I'm not the only 996 there lol.

Not trying to derail the party here, but what have you done to the engine beyond the coolant flush, thermostat, and belt? Did you PPI the car? Anything need to be done to the engine?

Suspension is done ✅ we will perform a paint correction tomorrow to get all the swirls out of the paint , will post pictures tomorrow , hopefully I will be done with it for the weekend .
