Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi there all 996 folks (and other porsche enhtusiasts) Im a bit splitted for some futher "stylings" on 996 targa. Should i get some spoiler on the back and a frontlip? Check the red boxes on my pic.

POST 3Original post

Looks great - yeah you could put a small lip on the front. What rear spoiler is that? I'd steer clear of the "spatulas" behind the rear wheels (just personal preference - they just look silly to me...like they're just stuck on for no good reason...)

POST 4Original post

I like it as is. what brakes are on that targa ? pccb?

POST 5Original post

I agree. Leave it as is.

POST 6Original post

Front lip, yes if your parking/ driving situation allows. ( I broke mine pulling out of a parking lot so now I’m without) Rear spats, no. But it is your car, so do what YOU want.

POST 8Original post

I like stickers. Where did you get the crests?

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im very happy with the looks already. Just wanted some opinion from fellow Porsche owners if I should go for an front lip and bigger rear-spoiler behind the backwheels. but as the most of u said that it might be to much Im agreeing with all of u. Might just go for an front lip

POST 11Original post

I think the spatulas look great... here is my black targa.

Agree on all. Just say "no" to spatulas.

POST 13Original post

Rear decklid is an easy plug and play. Not too expensive either. I swap back and forth. The standard decklid accentuate the hips better, imo. nice targa!
