Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If the flat is up front you can jack up the car from the rear jack point on the same side and with the rigid chassis, it will eventually lift the front enough to put a jack stand under the front jack point. Not sure about the other way around with all the weight in the rear...
Honestly, if it's in a stable spot, I'd leave it. Maybe stick a jack stand next to it just as "insurance"
The stock jack is flimsy, but it's a screw-type jack. There's nothing on it that can really fail. A hydraulic jack could leak and slowly drop, but the standard jack should hold fine on a flat surface.
In our underground parking I left it on the jack but popped the collapsible spare on with a couple of bolts just in case it got "knocked" while I was away.
No worries and thanks all. Just got the wheel back on. No problems. Pretty impressed with the oem jack. Light weight aluminum.
BTW - Costco did a fine job. Got me in and out in 20mims. 20k mile warranty, road hazard and nitrogen for less than $500 for a ps2 rear. I'll go back when it's time for more.
Glad it worked out. Was that at home in your garage ?
I guess I'm a non trusting sort. Would never leave my car in a unlocked space on a jack with no support. All it takes is one asswipe to push it off and have something underneath get pranged.
I know what you're saying but there is at least 700+ pounds of weight on the jack at that point in time. It's going to take more than a casual kick to get that off of there.
Now lowering it to the ground and stealing the jack is another story.
