Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
If it's up front it's probably the air conditioner evaporator drain and supposed to be like that.
Leading evidence: 'air conditioner evaporator drain and supposed' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'air conditioner evaporator drain and supposed' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks prof. Its directly above the transaxle slightly towards the frunk.
if it was a coolant hose Im sure I would have seen issues long ago.
going to leave as-is.
Its part of the fuel, evap system. It goes al the way up over the fuel tank and into the passenger side fender and hooks to the canister. Its the purge vent
Sorry. May be a misunderstanding. Its possible one of those hoses in your picture leads to the open end hose in my original picture. I assume my open hose should have a connected hose that leads somewhere in the engine compartment. I just cant find any diagram that provides clues. Its possible the hose is suppose be open. Im convinced the transaxle had never been removed before. The friction disk I just replaced was most certainly original. Only way to access that hose is by removing the transaxle.
No, that hose does not go anywhere. It is open to atmosphere under the car about where the hard coolant pipes end and its clipped tight to the body. Its where the car purges the "scrubbed" fuel vapor.
