Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Install by p' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check operation and wear' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

As said, start with the measurements, then you need to check your tires for correct size, then you may have to finally pull the strut towers and check the springs.

C4/C4S are lot more nose heavy and use a stiffer spring.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What components need addressed to level a 996? Have an 01 C2 with Bilstein B6 shocks, new Eibach springs and I even followed the example of the post below to add shims to the rear setup to help level it out. But dat *** still be dragging.
https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-rear-end.html
Measured front spacing from top of tire to bottom of fender - 34.7mm
Measured rear spacing from top of tire to bottom of fender - 21.7mm
What else should I be looking at to stop pointing the nose at the moon?
Good question on C2 shocks. They were installed by P.O. so I cannot say on that. I did take them out over winter to service them and check for operation and wear but did not consider that at the time.
It would stand to reason that the rear shocks are not stiff enough to hold up the suspension with the engine weight. So, maybe the installer swapped them around by mistake?
Here is a question
Whats the weight support ratio of the components? 70/30 springs to shocks? Maybe I need new or stiffer rear shocks if they provide significant support. OR, put the stock springs back in to help raise it level.
The shocks are dampers to stop spring oscillations. They do nothing to "lift" the car. Springs are what support the weight of the car. As said, start with the measurements, then you need to check your tires for correct size, then you may have to finally pull the strut towers and check the springs.
