Regardless, make sure you use the longer wheel botls too.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am interested in adding wheel spacers to my 40th anniversary with stock wheels.
I am looking for the wider look but will keep the wheels to maintain original appearance.
2 questions....1) Eibach or H+R or other and 2) best size (15mm F+R) ?
Thanks
congrats on your 40th!
in true rennlist style, you should post an intro thread with pics.
whats your serial number?

to answer your question:
front: 15mm spacer
rear: 20mm spacer
it doesn't matter which brand. its a piece of metal. i would go with the cheapest. fyi, porsche also sells spacers. however, you need bolts to compensate for any spacer you get. good luck!
Thanks for the welcome. I think that it is 931 but I will confirm. I have 7000 miles on it.
Will the width of these spacers (F-15, R-20) work with the stock wheels?
I thought that 15mm was the max but I am happy to go as wide as possible.
Thanks again.
911sanantone, why do you want to do this? Regardless, make sure you use the longer wheel botls too. I have the 5mm OEM's for my Boxster. I like the subtle change/look. Plus, it is easier to clean the calipers!

Strictly cosmetics...I am living with the existing stock 18 and want to give it a more aggressive look.
Why did you select 5mm? Could you have gone with something wider?
Thanks.
I selected 5mm because that was the only OEM size available on the order form when spec'ing my Boxster build in late 2005. Like a fat kid in a candy shop!
Reviving an old thread… just bought a 40ae and would like to see some photos and get some feedback on spacers. Of course, anyone with the same suspension and wheels is welcome to chime in as well! Thanks!
