Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So i pulled the trigger on this 2003 C4S 2 days ago - Owned by a retired SF police officer. At 72 and back problems, he decided to get an SUV. -Seal grey/Black - 114K miles and really well serviced. Has some scratches on front bumper from parking and few tiny dents that are hard to see. The drive home to Seattle was great fun and spent the night in Lake Shasta - Really beautiful area. It was 108 degrees in Redding Ca. - I hear it was going to hit 115 today. couple of iphone pics:

POST 2Original post

Heyyyy...that looks familiar... Congratulations - I was really holding out hope that a TT would pop up in your price range. Does it have the PSE? I took out the diode so that it's on all the time now and love it.

POST 5Original post

POST 17Original post

Yep - I bought his old car.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

sold the C4S to buy a turbo - turbo search didn't go very well and i missed my C4S greatly. i consider the C4S body a great design and even better looking than the newer 997 design.

POST 20Original post

Totally agree! Looked at a 997 c4s very seriously before deciding that I too liked the 996 better.
