Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just got my Blackstone Oil Report back. Their comments say all looks good. The car (02 C4S) had 98,800 miles when the sample was taken. Blackstone says there are trace amounts of fuel, perhaps from the injectors which the PO's mechanic said he didn't think they had ever been changed, replacements have been ordered and should be here Wednesday. This oil sample was taken during the IMS Solution install a few weeks ago. Report attached.

POST 2Original post

Good to hear! How long did it take to get the results back?

POST 3Original post

I dropped my first sample in the mail today. Looking forward to seeing the results. Im also looking especially for signs of bad injectors. Is there a definitive guide to reading these reports for 996s or at least for sports cars? Most of what I see on the web is aimed at industrial machinery and fleet truck engines.

I have no idea, that's why I posted here.
