40th AE may have different muffler inlet size. I'm pretty sure the header size is larger. Check to be sure. 40th has X51 engine package with many many different parts than normal 996. Paul

I own a 40th AE and replaced the stock mufflers with Fister modded 3.6 mufflers. There are no differences between the 40th AE mufflers and stock 996.2 mufflers. They are one and the same.
