Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

thanks! By any chance is the litronic headlight an option that appears under the frunk? I have them but no option code indicating it came from the factory.

POST 4Original post

I think the code for Litronic headlights is 601 and it should appear on the option sheet. Realize they may have been added by a previous owner - it's a fairly common upgrade. Rick

You can tell if the Litronics's were added on afterwards as they will not have the self leveling feature due to complexities in adding it afterwards. Just check the pass side control arm for a linkage assembly going to a sensor. This is what controls the leveling in factory HID system. If you see it there, the lights most likely came that way.
