Thought to start another thread , this time about interiors. I will start with mine. Despite what most people say, I love the nephrite green. Find it relaxing to the eye and creating a great ambiance. I have added/installed the original carrera alu door sills and the 40 jahre batwing central console part as well as the 996 fire extinguisher bracket and fire extinguisher. And the 996 umprella
Wow, never seen that interior before. Definitely different. Looks ultra clean. Where is the umbrella?
Whether one likes it or not, 10 years from now it will be a hot item because of the rareness.
I have regular old black leather. Nothing to see here.
I don't know how many times you're going to trick me into complimenting the same thing on your car but I dig the Nephrite. This color and Metropol blue are underlooked IMO.
All leather interior smells so good but looks monotonous. Everything covered in dark wood on light leather is much better, or light colored wood on dark leather. Ours is close to ideal but it's light wood on light leather, and on many pieces such as center console and door handles it cracked and was removed. At some point I'll research if a company can recover the pieces or if they are available used because new is thousands of dollars per piece.

I will post a pic later, the 99y umbrelka has a small cover it goes in with a metal ring to assist lifting it up. I like the idea of putting a fire extinguisher there

They�re the generic aluminum pedals you see everywhere on eBay. I think they we�re $125 for the 4 pedal set, and they say �Nurburgring� on them in red (not my #1 choice but it was all that was available at the time) black rubber nubs. The seats are from a 997 and have painted hard backs (in midnight blue which isn�t an exact match for my car but it�s close enough that you can�t really tell). They came to me as �natural brown� and I refinished/dyed the centers to match the rest of my Savanna Beige interior. For the back seat- backs if refinished/dyed the outer edges Natural Brown to match the fronts... there�s a thread documenting the process...
I love the GT3 buckets... You just hope you never have to access the ECU... nightmare scenario...probably about 10x the labor of doing it with folding backs... They certainly look and feel great though...👍
