Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used Holly on my 1972 for 17 years with no problems.
Leading evidence: 'Use holly' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use holly' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i asked this on the gt3 forum but no replies.
Has anyone installed one.
I'm looking for a reliable quality product. Any recommendations?
What do you guys think of the one pelican parts sells. Made by ecs tuning
Reads like then the pressure will be adjusted up so more fuel is injected per given amount of time.
Reads kind of well, odd or a back door way of adding more fuel without a tune, but what the heck.
The one for sale at Pelican Parts then should be ok if it allows you the adjustment range your mechanic says is needed. ECS Tuning has a good rep.
The variable fuel pressure strategy can be this:
1) Stock fuel pressure when the DME is in closed loop mode
2) Boosted fuel pressure when the DME is in open loop mode
Stock pressure in closed loop keeps the CEL from tripping.
Boosted pressure in open loop adds fuel and power.
Unnecessary. When torque demand is high enough the DME will ignore the #2 O2 sensor readings and supply the engine a richer fuel mixture. The mixture drops from around 14.7:1 (which is the air fuel ratio at which the converters are most efficient) to around 13:1 or thereabouts where the engine makes its best power. The DME doesn't need an increase in fuel pressure it just widens the injector pulse width a tiny fraction of time.
And when the injector pulse width grows, more fuel pressure means more fuel which could equate to more power. It's not just the DME that dictates the amount of fuel, the limitations of the mechanical parts - injectors and fuel pumps have to be considered too.
I agree with Macster, unnecessary. Your DME is already taking care of it. Also, too much fuel will reduce power. More fuel without more air to react with will only take up space in the combustion chamber and displace air.
You might want to do a google search on mixture vs. power and you can see for yourself.
