I use the PIAA yellow ion crystal bulbs, but I agree that nothing cuts thru thick fog like a good yellow light.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Went back to the Nokya 2300K yellow 55w I have run for years on my cars. What a difference. It really helps if you have small fingers to change them out. Not that bad though. If you do try them, make sure you do not get the higher wattage as you might melt the housing or a wire. My experience over the years using them, the best bright yellow weather fog you can get. Hope this helps somebody.

+1 have the same in my C4S nice i got the car 5 years ago... Yellow really helps in Rain, Fog and Snow! PS: my PIAA are 5 Years old now and have not Blown unlike cheap ones...

POST 5Original post

I've been thinking about doing this as well; pics would be great!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No pictures, but can tell you these bulbs are the best option for the overpriced PIAA. And in Colorado, they work just perfect. H7 for mine and not sure if it is H3 for the non Xenon option. Use your tool kit and easy swap, or any long 5mm hex bolt. Pay Porsche, I am sure they will charge at least $50 labor. PM me if you need install tips. Also, if you do get Nokya or PIAA...make sure they are the real ones...and never go over 55W or you will melt something...costing you more money. Just my 2 cents. Also, do not drive with yellow fogs on in daytime or no fog...makes the cops mad and laws are different state by state. If you run LAMIN-X yellow tint....you are asking for problems and messing with the lights. Just my opinion.
