Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for a NY / NJ quality engine rebuilder.

POST 2Original post

They have a good rep they maintain a couple of Boxster spec racers. Bodymotion is another. If it were my 996 I would consider shipping it to Jake Raby @ Flat Six

POST 3Original post

I talked to the original poster yesterday.. He is in a bad position with his C4S after an engine failure and I gave him some prices and possibilities. I am sure he is doing his homework, as he should be. We really like it when folks explore all their options and all the roads seemingly lead to Flat 6 :-) Jake at powertech is a good guy, we've worked with them on a couple of occasions when they first began working with these engines, but now I suppose they have started their own program. fpb111, thanks for recommending our services.

POST 4Original post

Kieth Peare of P-tech has built my air cooled 3.0. I have full confidence in his skill rebuilding w/c motors without a doubt.
