Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I ordered this part from Pelican, P/N 04 8227 40 and it is supposed to fit my car, but possibly the ignition was replaced some time ago and this switch doesn't fit, so it's a brand new switch that I can't use.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Check your car against Porsche or Pelican and if you can use the switch as the spare that you'll need sooner or later. This will be first come, first served. Send me your address PM and I'll send you the switch.
What's the catch? You need to donate something to your local shelter, whether it be animal, women's, veterans, whatever helps people. That's all. We'll just pay things forward.

Thank you so much for this kind comment and support! Jake Raby and I are hoping to build a learning community through online classes and media platforms like YouTube and Amazon Prime. We do hope that everyone subscribes to the channel - it's FREE!
Also, we're doing a LIVE broadcast with Lee Jenkins of Hartech. I'm sure you DON'T want to miss it. It is planned for next Thursday (August 12th) afternoon. Since Hartech is in the UK and 5 hrs ahead of the us, we're planning to start the LIVE broadcast on YouTube tentatively at 4pm ET. We hope to see you there!
Woohoo!
Ill get to learn more about AC Loop - New Troubleshooting and with R-1234yf Diagnostic Techniques from Worldpac that day from 12PM-1PM ET.
Hopefully Ill learn a lot that day.
Unfortunately it's the future.
I've yet to see an AC system with R1234yf, but I have been dealing with newer and newer vehicles lately.
I did AC repair on a 2017 a few weeks ago.
That vehicle was still R134a, but I know it's just a matter of time.
Instead of just refusing to work on R1234yf systems, I decided I'd at least learn a bit about them before I decide.
Sorry, but something got lost in translation. Also, I'll send it east of the Mississippi, but over water or to the left coast, kindly help out with postage.
Yeah, my bad. When somebody offers something and will even pay shipping...and I happen to live half-way around the world which isn't what the offerer intended, I would tell them that I'd like the item and will be happy to pay shipping charges, because I know that shipping is different within the lower 48 and anywhere else in the world.
You didn't offer a dime, and I'm not going to chase money in order to give something away. Comical that the next guy was even farther away than HI. I'll hold onto it. Actually, I'm going to give it to my Porsche wrench shop. They'll be able to use it, and I'll feel good about helping them as much as they help me.
Paying shipping was never an issue on my end, and I expected it. I assumed (shame on me) you would have gotten a shipping quote back to me once you had my address. Simple communication that's all.
