Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, yes, I haven't done this before so please bear with me Still learning some "basics". So how get the 6th cylinder to TDC? I do know that you can turn the crank clockwise only but anything else that I should take into consideration?

POST 2Original post

No thats it. Put trans in nuetral and e-brake on. It will get tight in the compression stroke but thats normal

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks - forgot to mention that I have a tip - does that bring some extra steps to the procedure?

POST 4Original post

No still needs to be in gear or nuetral. The park lock will keep the motor frim turning. Any other gear setting the torque convertor will let it turn but nuetral will be the least resistance.
