Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

42 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Does that make him an angel? Seriously, we are all glad you are still with us. Shows no matter what you are doing, the unexpected can always reach out and tag you. Any details? Someone turning left in front of you? Rear Ended? Broadsided? Take care and I wish you a full and speedy recovery. -C

POST 17Original post

Wow so glad to hear you are relatively OK. Sounds like you were on your bike and got hit?

POST 18Original post

Get better soon. Typing on the computer will agravate these injuries. Watch soap operas and drink whiskey. Sleep a lot! Good Luck.

POST 19Original post

Lucky you. You came out well! You'll be back riding sooner than you know. What caused your get off? I've had about 30 get offs on bikes. Most were during a very active 8 year GXSR roadracing stint. Entered hundreds of races, up to 5 a day. The scariest get off was a full blown head shake on the way too work, end over end at 80+ mph. Very lucky to have just a badly broken a wrist and contusions on the back from snapping a small tree.

POST 20Original post

Bummer. Sounds like, while it's not good, it could have been worse.

POST 21Original post

So sorry to hear this. You were sitting at a light on your motorcycle and got hit???

POST 22Original post

Pac; Like everyone else, glad that you only have a few broken bones (can't believe I said "only"). Apparently you were on your bike, not the 996. Interested in the details of the crash. Now you'll find out just how good your insurance company is. Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery. Rib injuries are a bitch. Just take it easy. Remember, every time you feel the pain, you are "re-injuring" it just a bit. So during the recovery, don't be "brave" and suffer through the pain. Keep your movements to a minimum, if you can. larry

POST 23Original post

Don't sneeze! Speedy recovery, and more details.

POST 24Original post

POST 39 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks guys. i pulled to a t intersection with a friend. He figured the left turn lane we were in was wrong with traffic jammed for miles to left. nobody on right turn so i tippy toed pushed my bike backwards to clear divider. i remember the tail slipped down with left side down. but friend tells me i went over the handlebars doing a stoppie. i dont do stunts. maybe the tail did slip on the sand then a concave of the road had traction applied to the rear when the tail of the bike got to the edge of the road which launched the bike up with me on it. or what i don't like the guy i was riding with who i told myself to never ride with him again since last year clipped my back tire. he has run into me before while i was stopped. from now on no riding with him. earlier i did try the full 4 hours between meds and learned the meds are working nicely with something to compare pain with. maybe the worst about surgery is the big tube down throatthat makes swalloowing later an annoyance. i like to think I am doing good at not disturbing the ribs having them on a fast path of recovery. while saying so far no major pains i figuring saying so far no days without major amounts of pain meds needs to be with it. so for real time will tell. thanks for the shouts and...i saw the ground coming, left back of hemet contacted first then left shoulder hit and i figure the helmet helps break guys colarbones. then i walked off the road. friend i'm riding with says he saw me hit and the came down on top of me. cruel world, never saw it coming so it doesn't make sense

POST 40Original post
