Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Internet and the void that it is... http://jalopnik.com/watch-what-happe...ads-1723214018

POST 2Original post

There is no limit to the stupidity out there. Jalopnik should just close shop if this is the kind of bull**** they intend to post.

POST 3Original post

Hmm. He claims it's a 2002, but it has the MKI style headlights. Possible? Or is he a stupid as he seems?

POST 4Original post

Waste of time and plain stupid. Idiots don't even know what year their car is.

POST 5Original post

I think they would have had better luck using the first generation iphone...those were much beefier

POST 6Original post

If you have PCCBs then I would guess that you need the iPhone 6 Plus.

POST 7Original post

Was that a leaky water pump, or just exhaust vapor leaking from a poorly clamped joint? I am a TREMENDOUS supporter of stupidity and for breaking things for sport, but this was...beyond stupid. Anyone who has seen a brake rotor glowing bright orange shouldn't be surprised that an aluminum, battery, PCB, and glass sandwich wouldn't work so well as a brake rotor. Please refer to the first several pages of the "Good week" thread to learn which materials CAN be used for brake pads in a pinch. Point of order: the one or two phones that vibrated when he hit the power button don't "still work."

POST 8Original post

I wonder why they didn't do a comparison of iPhones to Android devices to determine which one works best to stop the car. Maybe they'll do a test using metal trash can lids instead of wheels and tires to see if the car handles well....
