I have a 2000 c2 and replaced the cluster with a 99, didnt work, got the same oil pressure lite.

I got a new gauge cluster. The central read out under the tachometer is dark. Is that just a bulb? Also looks good but I have check brake fluid light on, it wasn't on with the other cluster.

I would start by pulling the cluster out enough and carefully re-seating all the connectors, inspect them first, make sure they look ok.

Weird. The oil pressure light is okay on mine. Instead it is the brake fluid light. Would think that the decision making for that light comes from outside the cluster. in other words there is no processing in the gauge cluster. everything else seems to be working.
