Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The only ones I ran across were on ebay in Germany and they had it listed for a 996 so I started my digging here.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone have a 996 inflatable compact spare tire available for measuring? Part number is 996.362.120.03 which is a 5.5x17 with a 185/60/17 on it. I'm specifically looking for the inflatable spare, not the thinner fully inflated version. I think it was specific to the C2 996.
I'm looking for ID diminsions @ the hub face as well as the depth from the hub to the back side of the wheel face.
I'm trying to find a spare that will clear the brembo 355mm rotors and calipers. Calipers end up being 400mm (15 3/4) I'm also trying to find the OD of the tire when deflat
This is the inflatable spare from my C4S. You're right, there isn't room for the regular spare, but C4/C4S got these. This is only a 165/70R16 though. I used it recently, worked great. I can get you measurements today if this is what you wanted.
thanks but that is the 16 inch. I'm looking for the 17 inch. looks like some buy the 17's to put on the later models that don't come with a spare from the factory
Interesting. I was intrigued and did some searching too. I can't find a legitimate reference to part number 996.362.120.03.
There is a 17" collapsible spare: 99636202003 which was superceded by 99636202004

Brand new for $489!
And although they are compatible with many, the 17" collapsible only came standard on 996 C4S or Turbo with Carbon Ceramic Brakes.
It was also then on a slew of 997s and on, including 997 C2s (not 996).
This is listed in the results of a search for 99636202004 athttp://www.autoatlanta.com
You might have more success asking in the 997 and later forums, or on the 996 Turbo forum.
Ah, Thanks.. The only ones I ran across were on ebay in Germany and they had it listed for a 996 so I started my digging here. I will give the 997 board a try. I'm not too familiar with the variants once I get past 996.
