Not much other than scratches , I checked every thing under the car and took it out for drive through town with lots of stopping and go and it just ran good as usual.

I backed the car in to hole (small ditch) out side friends house and it bottomed out on the passenger side and the front driver side tire was completely in the air , I had checked for leaks once I pulled it out and none found , but now I have a hesitation on take off that pops around ~1000-2800~ RPM .

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I backed the car in to hole (small ditch) out side friends house and it bottomed out on the passenger side and the front driver side tire was completely in the air , I had checked for leaks once I pulled it out and none found , but now I have a hesitation on take off that pops around ~1000-2800~ RPM . It doesn't matter if I'm in first gear or second gear after that it runs normal . I am going to jack the car up and see what kind of damage i did , I am thinking I might bend or pinched my fuel supply line because it feels like its lacking fuel under pressure . I searched the form and found this https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...-2800-rpm.html . Any suggestion would be great. Thanks

POST 2Original post

The fuel lines are not in that area (passenger side in front of rear wheel). They come up on the left hand/drivers side of the car (to the engine) and down the center tunnel from the fuel tank. I think it would be difficult and incredibly unlucky to crimp/crush the line(s) given the scenario. You never know til you get under there and look though...

Thanks , Going out now to look at it , see what kind of damage I did.

POST 4Original post

May just be coincidental with your bottoming out misadventure, but you may want to change your fuel filter if it has not been done recently. Dirty/clogged fuel filter may be the cause of the hesitation you are experiencing.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not much other than scratches , I checked every thing under the car and took it out for drive through town with lots of stopping and go and it just ran good as usual.
