Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I pulled the relay and cleaned the contacts with deoxit and it went back to working right.
Leading evidence: 'Clean contacts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am trying to remove the ****/potentiometer for intermittent wiper delay period. The **** is located in the horseshoe. Do I have to remove the horseshoe or can the **** be pulled out of the front?
If you have the non-rain sensing wipers (like me) the potentiometer in there just gets fouled over time. Either that or relay #16 gets loose or its contacts get dirty.
Before you start pulling on the **** its very easy to take the horseshoe off, its all held with clips. Just get a flat screwdriver and work your way around it very slowly. But don't pull all the way out as there are wires that you need to unclip for it to fully detach from the dash. From there on Im sure it will be very easy to remove the buttons and the ****.
Every time I've tried to remove it, I just get a lot of scary creaking noises and tons of resistance. This would be the first time I really need to get it off.
Would you happen to have the part number for the ****? The horseshoe is super easy to take off. If you are still in Jax I would be happy to pop it off for ya.
I did not have to play with my **** very much. I pulled the relay and cleaned the contacts with deoxit and it went back to working right. At the slowest setting, it is 24 seconds between wipes. At the fastest, it is about 4-5 seconds. I didn't bother to take the horsehoe and **** off since the relay seemed to fix the issue.

Play with your *** to see if it works , it it does gently insert the horseshoe in and she, your car will be happy
