Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

After months of search and research, C4S shopping, 40thAE pining, a disastrous long-distance PPI, an incredibly flaky local 'seller', and round-the-clock rennlist/pca/cargurus/dorkiphus surveillance: I'm back!
My third 911, after a decade in the wilderness, is a 2002 coupe in arctic silver. The car was ordered and serviced exclusively at one dealership by the only previous owner. It has 18" sport classic wheels, turbo front bumper, bose, "nav", heated comfort seats w fullpower and lumbar, and a shocking amount of leather. Porsche sport exhaust and short shifter were retrofitted at ~15k miles; there are 29k on it now.
I drove it 600 miles home on my first full day of ownership, and already I have a problem:
Is there a DIY for getting this idiotic grin off my face, or is that a dealer-only procedure?
You feel lika a million in a 911, you care about your baby, you hurt when it is sick, you Joy when it gets Well, and take it for a drive in its favorite bends, let it perform, perform your grin like nothing else can.

Lol, I was diagnosed a few years back. It's chronic, good luck with the treatment.
Welcome back, sweet ride and get some detailed pics up soon.
You'll also be experiencing a nervous tick that causes you to turn and look back every time you park it and walk away.
Congratulations and have a great time with it!
Congrats, you indeed have been bitten by the Porsche bug even after 2 prior 911s. At least you acknowledged no pics, but that only lasts temporarily. Share some pics when you have time so we can also enjoy your new ride.
Congrats. That is a dealer-only procedure - it is replaced by shock and awe at the bill for the simplest repair or maintenance work.
Go indy or go home (and do the repair yourself)!
