Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Reported cause
I've had a few cars shudder/lose power under heavier acceleration and in both cases it turned out to be spark plugs.
Leading evidence: 'spark plugs' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'spark plugs' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check plugs and coil packs if they have not been' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

While they need to be replaced, very few actually break (come apart).

Suggestion
If you can I'd scan for any codes and check your plugs and coil packs if they have not been replaced.

go ahead and change the front transmission mounts as well.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I had just told someone today how great my car was driving , and as I started driving home from work the car started Shuddering whenever I accelerated. I thought I was on a bad patch of freeway at first, but the more I gave the car gas it shook horribly, then when I let off the gas it would go away. C'mon people, what do you think the problem is? I am thinking Motor Mounts or Tran Mount or something bigger?
Any check engine lights? If you can I'd scan for any codes and check your plugs and coil packs if they have not been replaced. The coil packs have been known to crack.
Does it feel like the engine is missing with power loss when its shuddering, or does it stay strong and just shake the car? I've had a few cars shudder/lose power under heavier acceleration and in both cases it turned out to be spark plugs. No codes for either.
Ironically, one of those cars did have a coil pack go bad a few years earlier. The entire car started shaking at any speed, and I got a code telling me exactly which pack was out.
Oh, man, you're not supposed to say that kind of stuff out loud!
It might be worth making sure all coil packs are correctly seated - spark plugs are correctly torqued. 500 miles is enough miles to jiggle something loose.
I would pull codes and look for misfires. You might have a mass airflow sensor issue or something else causing misfires, assuming thats why its running rough.
Pending (stored) codes for misfires may also show another, more specific, code.
Sure, plugs and coils may fix it, but I cannot tell you how many times people replace those and it doesnt fix the issue. Same with motor mounts. While they need to be replaced, very few actually break (come apart). Mostly they just hang and cause handling wonkyness.
Replaced the motor mounts this weekend and the car is not shuttering anymore, drivers side mount was dust, passenger side was not much better. Only thing now, is when I was removing the wiring from the secondary air box my hand slipped and my oil filler tube broke in half. Not looking forward to taking everything off to replace that!!
go ahead and change the front transmission mounts as well. I unbolted mine and was able to wiggle it a good inch in all directions. Half of the bushing had disintegrated!!!
