Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had the leather replaced on drivers seat. He took the seat only and when he reinstalled, the airbag light went on. He reset the light. Two days later car is riding very rough, CEL on (sometimes blinking). Codes P1121 and P0301 came up. Any suggestions? Related or not? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Misfire on cylinder 1 = rough idle. To check, in the order I'd check them: Plugs, coil packs, injectors Airbag light is coincidental IMO. Blinking MIL means danger to the emissions equipment. If your misfire is caused by a lack of spark, dumping unburned fuel into the exhaust can do bad things to the cat for that bank.

POST 4Original post

Not sure if the MK1's are effected by the TSB for an improper seatbelt ground. If the light comes back on again have it checked out,to likely nothing to worry about. From what I've read the airbags will still deploy.

POST 5Original post

The airbag-related code was thrown because the seat was removed while the battery was connected. It should not repeat and I can't imagine it's related to the misfire.
