cleaners, lubricants, performance enhancers, stabilizers - and if there are any treatments that include cleaning agents meant for the whole fuel system, not just carbon buildup removal functions, I�d not want to waste those [expensive] chemicals on a dirty filter.

Especially if you want to do a track day, run it through during the track event, then change your oil after you�ve gone through the whole tank.
if there is enough Techron in a tank of Chevron premium gas to not need to use a bottle, then why would you need to change the oil after running through a tank with a bottle added?

I have never used them in my Porsche's. I do use Stabil in the winter when storing my car to keep the fuel as fresh as possible.

My mechanic said that you can run BG or Techron every once in awhile. Especially if you want to do a track day, run it through during the track event, then change your oil after you�ve gone through the whole tank. Best to do this before your car needs an oil change so as to not waste oil.

I like Techron.
They sell a case of 12 at Costco for a reasonable price.
I use it in all my vehicles.
Driven also makes an additive called Fuel Injector Defender.
I ended up with a bottle of Driven Carb Defender that�s just setting on my shelf.
Maybe someday I�ll have another car with a carburetor.

Another way is to just fill up with Chevron premium, this is what I do. There's enough Techron in it to keep things clean and then you don't have to buy the bottle.
IMPORTANT: If you buy and bottle and use it, you MUST change the oil pdq!!!
