While removing the OEM intake...filled with leaves and dirt (Got the car used) I noticed a big split in the serp belt.

Right now, besides the Fabspeed intake I installed, glad I swapped out the serp belt. While removing the OEM intake...filled with leaves and dirt (Got the car used) I noticed a big split in the serp belt.
Added some light tinted side markers with LED lights, and some LED lights for the map bulbs and lower door bulbs. Really sets off the silver console at night. Valentine 1 hardwire kit will be installed when I get that chance. Not much I can do with this beauty. Right now, just getting a few parts for preventative maintenance. 60K on the car and the stuff Porsche wants for that service is a joke. DIY is the way to go.
Got my 03 C4 Cab on Mar 4th and have been wondering if it would be a good idea to change the serpetine belt due just to age if not miles? Has 36k miles. Thanks in advance for the advice.

I too have 03 cab with less than 20k miles and I talked to the local dealer and the recommended doing a major service at 30k miles or 8 years old. The major includes the belt replacement, fluid changes, filters, plugs, etc. I've scheduled it in 2 weeks. Better to get it done than have the belt go and damage something else.
Best thing is working on the car. I really enjoy it. Gutting out the intake and moving the air pump back was easy. Taking the headlights out...very easy. The clips suck though....LOL. Need small fingers. Removing the rear seats...did not really need a DIY for that but was very simple. Sometimes...working on the car is relaxing..if it goes right I must add
Cleaning out the TB soon. Simple job. Just glad I caught my serpentine belt when it was close to splitting. It is a 2000 car and even with low miles...rubber deteriorates.
Just waiting for a nice day in Colorado to wash and hand wax it.
