Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If I was to do this, I would have used flag mirrors and a whale tail.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Fried eggs doesn't bother me. I was not a Porsche fan before I bought my first one so to me the fried eggs was fine when I looked at the car and purchased it.
I like the look of the headlights, but not the bumper. It looks like a cross between a 997 and a 964. If I was to do this, I would have used flag mirrors and a whale tail.
I think that is an interesting look. 996 headlights don't bother me (never have). However, I have no problem with those who want modify their car to suit their taste.
Although I tend to be a purist, I enjoy seeing what others who have creativity and talent do to their cars. There have been some cars posted in the past that are cringe worthy. But many, like the one posted by the OP, look to be well done. If it makes you happy then go for it!
I think the 996 would be better suited to a "backdate" to a 993, but that orange one looks pretty well executed. Although, I'm not a fan of the 997-style bumper. Too many eras mixed together for my tastes.
As others note, flag or aero mirrors, more accurate 964 tucked front and rear clips, a less shouty wing (unlikely ever tracked), and a more period paint would certainly help.
It does however remind me a bit of the Golf bodied 928s:
I’m a little bit out of mainstream Porsche thinking, but to me the 996.1 is the prettiest of all 911’s, before or after. Best with amber lenses and narrow body in my opinion. But like others I do like to see what creative people do with their cars as well.
To the OP - this is really interesting and looks like it was a fun project.

Came here to post this... recall, the '993' GT-1s never won!
They were a bit firery, though...
Total 911 had a piece on the GT-1 98 that won LM24 a few months back. I have a painting of such #26 hanging in my office. Simply the most beautiful modern racecar ever made.
