In terms of maintenance, did you also replace the coils when you did the plugs?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Long time lurker and am simply amazed by this community. Between the resources and guides, they have all helped in making ownership a joy. Jumped into the 996 world last July 2019 but wanted to say hello and share some photos.

Since purchase, I've gone through and replaced all brake pads and rotors. Bled and flushed the brake fluid. Drained, flushed and refilled the coolant system. Replaced all spark plugs. Cabin, air and oil done as well thanks to guides here. Anything else anyone can think of to address?
It's worn, it's has scratches but it's a daily along with the Cayman.

Good looking car.
How many miles on car when purchased?
Year?
To protect investment in a nice high mile car do the IMSB
When was clutch done? At 214k it must have been
Id replace motor mounts based on muffler sagging
Have Indy check cam chain deviation
Nice! The GT3 seats are an excellent upgrade as well (if you dont mind no adjustment...). If you decide you dont like them, theyre worth nice $$. Congrats and good luck!
Another Vesuvio 996! There are dozens of us!
In terms of maintenance, did you also replace the coils when you did the plugs? When was the last time it had an alignment?
Love to hear about 200k mile cars, makes me think mine will last forever at 54k. The maintenance you are doing will really get it up to snuff, That's also a great color!
Judging by the cable operated frunk and engine lid levers and what look like amber tails, I'd say this is an early 996.
What mileage was the engine rebuilt and how did it look internally? I've got 133k on mine.
How do you like the B&M shifter?
Stunning color!
Wow what a unique car. Lucky find!
Honestly at 214k miles I would just enjoy the car and take the punches as they come. They should be generally mild. Welcome to the madness!
