Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

On my last visit I had a copy of Porsche Magazine and I had every employee I could find to autograph my magazine, even the cleaning lady.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Since i'm temporarily living in Munich, thought I spend Saturday to visit a couple of car museums. First, the Audi one in Ingolstadt and secondly, the Porsche Museum. Some pictures from the Porsche Museum for your enjoyment.
Not everything that was in there, but some things I found interesting.
I went to Ingolstadt first (about 40 mins from Munich) and had lunch at Audi Zentrum. Last time I was at the Audi Zentrum, they didn't have a museum. And as I remember, the complex wasn't that large. I did do the factory tour then, but I skipped it all around.
If I had to compare Audi's Museum and Porsche's, well, the Porsche museum has Audi beat hands down. It's so much nicer, and the exhibits don't feel stale. The Audi's frankly is lack luster.
I hear that the Mercedes one is nicer still, but that's for another time.
Oh, Audi charges 3 for their Museum. Porsche charges more (8 plus 4 parking) Of course. It wouldn't be Porsche without charging more. It was worth it.
Onto the pics.
From the street corner. Parking is under the museum. Right behind my POV, is their dealership, with every goddamn model plus all the accessories.
The shape is born. It's amazing frankly that most, if not all cars have these hips from Porsche of course...And the fender 'tunnels'. I love seeing the fenders and the hips in the rearview mirror. It's a special view and it doesn't let you forget that you're in a Porsche.
It's first cousin behind
The very first porsche. 1898 in the foreground. Behind it, you can see the electric motor integrated into the wheel.
The 908 Pan America in the front.

The long tail. In the world of modern aero, the 917 sliced and diced with a Cd of .30. That's amazing if you consider that modern cars are just starting to achieve those numbers. And the long tail reached speeds of 378 kph!!! Pretty unbelievable for over something like 40 years ago.
You know the saying, develop enough downforce, and you can drive upside down. If the math works, than this car piloted by Derek Bell and Jackie Ickx will defy gravity at 318 kph.
RSR
Speed Yellow IMSA 3.3 Turbo S. One of 83. Had Yellow buckets inside, deviated stiching, yellow painted seat backs. Simply a gorgeous car.

Will do. I ran out of time when I got to Stuttgart. I have to return something from the shop anyway that I bought.
On another note, if you ever wondered what a cross section of the hollow spoke wheel may look like....
Back in 2003 & 2004, I had 6 trips to Stuttgart for the Navy. Back then the Porsche museum was in the middle of the Porsche werks in Zuffenhausen, right next to the European delivery center. The entire museum was maybe 10,000 square feet and had about 15 cars in it. Still, I visited it probably 6 times. Parking (on the factory grounds) was free, as was admission. The better part was visiting the dealership out front of the factory. Also, it was cool seeing the various new Porsche models parked around the factory. I remember seeing several 996 Turbo models. Frankly, my current desire to move up to a 996TT is fueled more by seeing the Turbo model at the factory than the performance.
The Mercedes museum has also changed since then. I haven't been back to Stuttgart since 2004, but I've heard the Mercedes museum is spectacular. The old Mercedes museum was great, so I can imagine what the new museum must be like.
I assume you've taken in the BMW museum already since you're living in Munchen.
Thanks for sharing the pics. There's not many better ways to spend a few hours than taking in an auto museum!
I was TDY to Stuttgart for a few months last year. Spent 3-4 hours at the museum, taking hundreds of pictures. It's almost a life changing event. Also went to the Mercedes museum, but one person can only look so much at taxis
The Mercedes museum does mix a lot of history into it's displays and is a very interesting architecture building.
Last time I was visiting any car museum here it was the old BMW museum and there was no Porsche or Audi museums.
I've heard the Mercedes one is spectacular because while the Audi concentrates on their history and Porsche concentrates on racing angle, the Mercedes one is more about the car in general and history. Plus I've been told also that the architecture is amazing with two intereoven spiral structures.
I was there this past Christmas. What a sight to behold! I had not been there to the new museum. When I was stationed in Germany 1985-90/1992-93 and 2004, I would go maybe once every 6 months and just hang out at the little factory museum and check out the new cars. I really love the new museum. On my last visit I had a copy of Porsche Magazine and I had every employee I could find to autograph my magazine, even the cleaning lady. All the employees got a kick out of signing my magazine and I had a great time. Thanks for sharing these pictures, they are great. Cheers
