Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

We can replace rubber bushings with harder compound which will reduce deflection.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm going to replace my front suspension control arms, both the coffin arms and the big links. 2002 Carrera 2WD
For those of you who have done this, are there any good alternatives to the OEM parts ? I don't mind firm.
Second I suppose is where I could buy these parts for a more (ahem) reasonable price than what I see advertised at the usual suppliers?
Thanks !
I don't believe you can do any better than the oem TRW parts unless you want more neg. camber for tracking. I had a bad URO arm. Watch E-bay for discounted parts but start early before you need it.
We've got few of options for you, depending on what your needs are.
Our adjustable control arms have a massive range of camber and caster adjustment. Spherical bearing eliminate deflection and double heim joint makes length adjustment a snap. No shims to mess with. Especially useful if you want to make quick changes to the camber at the track. We also have adjustable upper control arms, toe links and bump-steer tie rod ends.

Alternatively, we also carry OEM control arms that we can customize any way you want. We can replace rubber bushings with harder compound which will reduce deflection.

We can also add our eccentric monoball bearings, great performance and adds caster adjustment range to extend it or bring it back to range on lowered cars.
