I do not want to run coil-overs on this car, this is simply a nice day cruiser with the family, not a track car.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I searched quite a bit, and couldn't find the answers I was looking for. So if this is repetitive, I apologize. I have my car at my shop and we are having a bit of an issue trying to get the right spring and sway bar options for my car. It's a 1999 C4 Cabrio and I was originally looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit, they ordered direct from TireRack and once the kit showed up, nothing worked. The front springs appeared to be coiled too tightly to allow them to be mounted, and the front sway bar had a strange kink upwards where the end links are to connect. I assume they sent a kit for a C2, but even in the box it said it would fit the C4, C4S and Turbo models. The fine folks at Tirerack had no answer, no data, and no intelligence on the topic. I am not opposed to H&R's (even if they are 2x the price). I just want to make sure parts fit and none of them list anything for a 1999 C4 Cab. (I assume because it has many of the 2000 parts on it). If anyone here can point me in the right direction, I would be greatly appreciative. This exercise has been a tad frustrating to say the least mainly because the the time/effort already exerted due to an IMS failure and all the parts/labor associated with that. I do not want to run coil-overs on this car, this is simply a nice day cruiser with the family, not a track car. I have coil overs on other vehicles and just want a standard spring/shock combo. Thank you all for your time. Ryan

Not considering RoW M030? http://www.carnewal.com/products/P96...for-US-P96-C4S

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I wasn't looking at the M030's.

POST 4Original post

Sorry, for some reason I thought yours a C4S. The RoW M030 for C4 is here and it comes with the thicker anti-sway bars http://www.carnewal.com/products/P96...ension-Package Sounds like a bargain. No fitment issues for sure as it's from Porsche. RoW M030 is a very popular choice for ppl looking for a better setup but don't want to spend a ton.

POST 5Original post

This one you got? http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...9&autoModClar= It says excluding Cabriolet!

POST 6Original post

There more I looked at this the more the RoW M030 seemed to make sense both for performance and price.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm not sure the model number for the Eibach Pro-Kit, TireRack said it was for the C4 but I think they either (a) sent us the wrong kit, or (b) something was skewed. From my understanding, the C4 coupe and the C4 Cabrio both has identical suspension setups. Was this incorrect? I'll look at the RoW setup, thank you for the link. Has anyone had any luck with the H&R setups? Thanks much
