Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Turned out to be an issue with the fuel door actuator.
Leading evidence: 'issue' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'issue' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace due' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Issue 1: Alarm was going off in the rain. Turned out to be an issue with the fuel door actuator. It was just flopping around. Thought: Unplugged or shorting.
Resolution: Removed wheel well liners and EVAP cannister. Thought the whole unit would be detached from the T20 bracket. Nope just the actuator pin had popped off the actuator motor. Snapped back in and all was good.
Issue 2: What looked like a massive windshield washer leak.
Resolution: Removed yet another set of wheel well liners to look at the issue. Wife poured water into the system and saw no leaks. Dang you Gravity. Ok, run the washer fluid. I got a gusher out of the side of the wheel well far from the fluid tank. So I looked and it was coming from above......right behind the battery where the main feed hooks into the hoses for the nozzles. Snap the hose back in place...problem solved.
Issue 3: Both FRONT wheel well covers needed replaced due to being cracked and in bad shape.
Resolution: Replace at this time. Easy as heck.
Conclusion: Wheel well liners are like Origami and Tetris all rolled in together.
Trashed front liners:
I poked around for pricing - Sonnen was cheaper but know ahead of time that they will call you to tell you the actual shipping cost. It's in their fine print.
My liner was cracked at the forward mounting point from the PO going over something.
It is a 10 year old car and the liners get cracked and the air deflection pieces (tech term I am sure) come loose or are missing.
I work for a dealer as the IT Director so I get parts at cost plus 5. So I cannot comment on the price. But it is nice to refresh the car. New side skirts are off to be painted body color and the TA front bumper and the Misha rear spoiler and the hard top will be painted at that time as well
So many of the plastic and rubber parts are dried out and need replacement by now. So I am going thru and doing what I can.
I have a left liner from Pelican waiting to go in. They do crack easily, must become brittle over time.
