It's been to the shop a couple times, had the fuel pump, and sending unit replaced still doesn't work.

Fuel guage doesn 't work. It's been to the shop a couple times, had the fuel pump, and sending unit replaced still doesn't work. Anybody have this issue? The needle is stuck at the half way mark. If I fill it up there is a 1 in 10 chance it will show full but it will never go below 50%.

Sounds like a wire, plug or cluster issue. I would trace the wiring first and make sure that has correct resistance and continuity. There could be an issue with wiring and/or plug. Test and clean with alcohol and see if that works. Even though new...maybe a faulty sending unit, or it is getting hung up in the tank. C2 or C4S? Different tank styles. Different tank sending units. Also, on the C4S I believe there is a mandatory calibration that needs to be done when replacing the fuel sending unit.
