I've personally used Riggs And Danny's with good results, Ogden sponsored a Concours we were in and had done a few of the cars there, and they looked great.

This is sort of off-topic, but are any of you Chicago area folks aware of a good upholstery shop? Looking at a fairly high end car in your area to supplement the 996, but the seats are unattractive (to me). Car is a 4door sedan with black and white seats, all in great condition. However, the center section of the seat bottom and seat back is white, with the surrounding areas (bolsters) in black. I want to get some realistic quotes as to cost to replace with new black leather. If anyone has a couple of good shops that I could contact, I would appreciate it. Thank You.

One that I have personally done business with is in Villa Park. Ed's Auto interior. Great work, great price. I bought the covers online and had them installed. He had to tweak them to get them right by sewing a few things up on them. Came up beautiful. Here is the car they are installed in: There is another place just a few miles from him on St. Charles just West of RT 83.

I've had good luck with Riggs brothers (several locs). For higher end work, Ogden top and trim. Danny's glass and trim in Wauconda. I know they all do vintage/restore work, not sure how proficient in newer stuff. I've personally used Riggs And Danny's with good results, Ogden sponsored a Concours we were in and had done a few of the cars there, and they looked great. Call each and discuss, see what they say.
