Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have a feeling acronyms change depending on the DME.
Leading evidence: 'Replace depending' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace depending' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have the enthusiast Durametric. Is there a good resource to get more out of my Durametric? I find the users guide to be of limited value. Id like to learn more about fuel trims and cam deviation monitoring.
I also have dumb questions like can I drive the car with the software running and will it store the data for later download?
Thanks for your help!
Brian
I never really got into everything that mine could do - but I can confirm there was a logging feature. I remember I went for a drive logging the accelerator input and throttle % opening. It was interesting to see how they related to one another from when the engine was cold and then as it warmed up.
Hi Dan,
id like to know best process for long term fuel trim readings. Is it best to perform test at idle or in motion? Id also like to know nominal values.
id also like to know about cam deviations. Best at idle or in motion. And Nominal values.
I watched an informative YouTube video from Callas last night. Slowly climbing the learning curve.
Thanks everyone for posting links!!!
Cam deviations r taken at idle. They are a "smoothed" value. U also want to look at the actual cam value. This will jump up around 3200 rpm and it shows that the variocam seliniod and actualtor is working.
I have always looked at the fuel curves at idle but not sure if thats correct.
These are my Durametric readings in my 99 C2. Engine fully warm. Readings taken at idle with all auxiliaries shut off.
Unsure which readings are fuel trim data. Any thoughts?
What does IATS and ECTS stand for?
ignition timing is mostly at 4.5 but does blip to 7.5.
oil temp seems to be running a bit hot. I show nominal to be 90 +/- 5 degrees. Would a new oil cooler do the trick?
Any general thoughts about these readings???
All comments welcome.
There is a rennvision video with Tony Callas that explains some of these values and what they mean.
Although do you have any issues with your car or is this just gathering data to better understand how it all works?
Ill watch the callas video again and see if there is acronym info. He does a nice job of explaining short term and long term fuel trims.
I have a feeling acronyms change depending on the DME. Im trying to understand the acronym meanings at this point. No issues with the car. No fault codes. Just trying to find a Rosetta Stone to decipher.
Ha! Thanks Tex. I guessed right after you gave me the IATS def.
Any idea what FRA and TRA stand for? Im guessing thats the fuel trim short term and long term???
