I have had the Failure of engine compartment blower light come on several times this summer, always during hot weather days. After a lot of research, I finally figured out that the engine compartment temperature sensor has somehow become dislodged and is now hanging somewhere in the engine compartment. Where does this sensor cable originate from? If I can find the cable, I should be able to return the sensor to its correct place. There are several cables in that general area and dont want to yank on the wrong one. Thanks in advance and sorry for lack of pics. Im hoping that someone who has had this happen to them before knows what Im describing. forgot to mention, its a 2005 C4S
Anyone know where the engine temp sensor cable originates from?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Did you not resolve this in 2019? I guess it feeds into a loom not too far from here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...l#post16522607
I did not resolve it. Didnt figure out the actual cause of the issue until yesterday. I know where the sensor mounts, I just need to find where that cable starts on the other end.
