Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Suspension is next on my list of projects and I was thinking it would be best to start with replacing the bushings before spending $$$ on shocks and struts.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have a good source that lists all of the suspension bushings on a 996 C2? Not looking for poly, just stock rubber parts. Ive seen nice diagrams from companies like powerflex. But Im just looking for a list of part numbers and bushings that are not so stiff. Google gives mostly the poly stuff.

POST 2Original post

I believe the only suspension bushing Porsche sells is for the sway bar. Everything else would be a whole component with new bushing already installed. Here are ones sold by Elephant, they have the stock hardness for most. https://www.elephantracing.com/porsc...sion-bushings/

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok. Gotcha. I didnt know they were not available without the component. That makes sense why I couldnt find anything.

POST 4Original post

Let is know what you end up doing. Suspension is next on my list of projects and I was thinking it would be best to start with replacing the bushings before spending $$$ on shocks and struts.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My intention is to replace all the bushings over the winter. It rides very rough, especially from the back end. Same as you, Ill start with the bushings and maybe add coilovers in the end. Oh - and I know the tires are well past their useful age. Lots of tread, but those pirellis feel like they are made of plastic. Some new Michelins should help the ride.
