Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I tested with measuring from the bottom of the Tiptronic oil pan and that shows about 1 degree tilt toward the front - meaning that the rear is a bit more higher than the front.
Leading evidence: 'Test with measuring' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check level' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Also I'm using Quickjack and because the rear is heavier it puts a lot more pressure on the rubber blocks on the rear on that Quickjack so I countered that with raising the back rubber blocks about 1cm up.

Now check the level by taking that level check plug out.

Ok, while I'm still struggling with that smoking engine thing I started to change Tiptronic fluid because that has been on my to do list for a while now.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ok, while I'm still struggling with that smoking engine thing I started to change Tiptronic fluid because that has been on my to do list for a while now.
What's weird now is that it looks like it drained about 4.5 lites of fluid but when I'm filling up that I was able to add only about 3.0 ltr. I do know that car should be on level but now the question is how accurately and measured exactly from where?
For some reason those jacking points in my car are so that the rear jacking points are recessed on the same level as that side line but the fronts have that metallic 1 cm high block. Also I'm using Quickjack and because the rear is heavier it puts a lot more pressure on the rubber blocks on the rear on that Quickjack so I countered that with raising the back rubber blocks about 1cm up.
Now if I measure the level from the side of the car it's pretty much spot on. I tested with measuring from the bottom of the Tiptronic oil pan and that shows about 1 degree tilt toward the front - meaning that the rear is a bit more higher than the front.
Now I don't know if that bottom of the oil pan is any good spot to measure that if the car is on level or not so...
Any ideas why I was able drain 4.5 ltr (or so...) but I'm only able to put 3 ltr back - I know I have to start the engine etc so that fluid circulates and after that top up again but before that I'm hoping that someone has done this and measured how much fluid should I able able to to there initially.
I'm guessing and speculating that I should lower a bit the rear side to allow more fluid into pan ? - Because on that pan the filling hole is on the "front" side....
1. When using quickjack I orient mine with the big yellow sticker to the REAR of the car, where the weight is.
2. Quickjack, I use wooden blocks, not those rubber crap thingies, works much better.
3. You're overthinking this...
4. You need to drive the car and warm up the trans really well.
5. Put up on quickjack, get as level as you can, 1 degree is not going to make a big dif.
6. Use digital laser temp on the trans pan, when it's about 100 degrees F...
7. Now check the level by taking that level check plug out.
8. If nothing comes out, put plug back in and add about a qt.
9. Then with the plug in, start car and run through the gears giving it about 30 sec in each gear.
10. Turn off car, check temp again, 100 is the goal.
11. Check level again...
Now go have a beer and enjoy the car!
