Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They had the car for 2 days doing pressure tests, changing some O-rings and re-filled the coolant fluid.
Leading evidence: 'Fill coolant fluid' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check hose thats visible' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
Often times a pressure test fails to turn up a leak since the leak is under water and with the system cold the pressure is not sufficient to cause the leak to well, leak, and there is no drop in pressure.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A few weeks ago i noticed that my coolant level had dropped to the min mark and some coolant was found on the garage floor. No warning lights or high temps. So asked my indie to see what culd be done. They had the car for 2 days doing pressure tests, changing some O-rings and re-filled the coolant fluid. However, they could not find the leak and told me to drive it a week and keep an close eye to the levels. Levels has seemed OK and the car is running just fine, i however found these drops today just behind, slight to the left, the rear right wheel
Any ideas/suggestions to what could be wrong? Pressure test turned up ok, O-rings changed.....
I had a similar thing...just a couple
Drops and it was coming from a hose that the clamp was weak on. Easy fix on mine. Same area.
Check the hose thats visible under left side of
Motor. U might see some residue.
What is wrong? There is a small coolant leak.
Often times a pressure test fails to turn up a leak since the leak is under water and with the system cold the pressure is not sufficient to cause the leak to well, leak, and there is no drop in pressure. The pressure test only works if the leak is above water and can vent sufficient pressure to be noticeable, or the leak if underwater is so bad that the system can't hold coolant.
BTW, if you want you do your own pressure test. Top up the coolant tank to a known level. Do not overfill. Be sure the cap is on securely.
With the A/C off start the engine and let it idle a while and get warm while you make sure the thing is at least not dripping coolant on the driveway.
Take the car out and drive it around your neighborhood until the engine is fully warmed up. You should hear/feel the radiator fans coming on.
Back home in your driveway raise the RPMs to say 1200 and hold until you or a helper feel/hear the radiator fans come on.
Switch off the engine. Open the engine compartment lid and wait.
As the heat load in the engine raises the coolant temperature it will raise its pressure too. A leak is much more likely to show itself with the system fully up to temperature and under as much pressure as it should ever experience.
Ideally you want the car in the air so you can be underneath looking for a leak but very aware the cooling system can gush hot coolant at any time.
From underneath the car with a bright flashlight give the car a thorough inspection. I think you'll find the leak source. With the engine hot and the system under pressure I think the leak will be quite obvious.
Once you have found the leak source then you have to find a place to take the car to get the leak fixed. The place you took it the first time is no good.
The tech should have done the above and the inspection and found the leak and fixed it.
Bterry - Yea it looks like the exact same issue, thanks! Kind of surprised my indie didnt spot this when they had the car for two days troubleshooting the leak.....
Find a new indy I guess.
Btw, if your car is mkI (3.4L) there is a gasket you need to buy. If it's mkII, you just need to buy the cover plate, which has a built-in rubber gasket.
Up to you if you want to return to this indy and try to get him to explain himself.
My guess is he will not take this request to explain himself with much grace.
I would think your time would be better spent talking to other shops in your search to find a shop you want to give your business too.
I'm with Macster on this. If they couldn't diagnose this obvious leak, either they are incompetent or had no interest fixing your car. Neither is good.
They will probably be too embarrassed to tell you they missed it so they may just say they looked but it wasn't leaking at the time. However, there's stain obviously around the cover as the tell tale sign...Regardless, if you still trust them, it's a very simple job to replace that cover. About a gallon of coolant will gush out and they just need to refill the system afterwards (hopefully with a vacuum tool).
