Have you checked Fuses, relays, wiring to buttons, all connections?

The only thing we can think of which could just be a coincidence, is we replaced the ac/ heat control unit, just plugged in the new one and now the buttons don�t change gears.

I have a 2001 TIP C4 Cab and it drives great in D, shifts through all the gears properly without issue but if I attempt to change gears manually from the tiptronic buttons on the steering wheel they don't work.
