My 996 has been in my driveway for the last couple days cause I'm bringing it to get some paint work done in a few days. I noticed if it's a sunny day out, by nightfall all the windows inside have a coating of steam. I made sure all the windows in the car are up and the sunroof is closed. Is there a common cause for this? Any specific seal or weatherstripping I should be looking at? Thanks

I'd check the sunroof and AC drains. If they get clogged, you may get moisture backing up into the cabin. Combined with heat, it could cause the issue you describe.

Check the carpets to see if they r wet. Im guessing u have a clogged sunroof drain and its leaking inside. There r plenty of posts explaining how to find and clear if u do a search. ^^^^ u type faster then me .

Check under the carpets. My ac drain (connection at the box) has been leaking for who knows how long. Carpet top are dry but the sponge under the carpet was soaked. Get some damp-Rid in there ASAP until you figure it out..

As others have said. Check the rear seat carpets. The sunroof drains will clog and back up water/drip water there.
