Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Nate - I was on eBay a few days ago and I'm pretty sure I saw some used factory pieces.
Leading evidence: 'Use factory pieces' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use factory pieces' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

They are 1500$ at suncoast, just wondering if anyone has tried the ebay version.
Thanks in advance

I can't speak on behalf of this kit. However I am building a BMW E36 track car and have met several guys who are doing and have done the same. To make my car "look" better i ordered "M3 look" bumpers and side skirts. While they look damn good from 20 feet away, they don't fit quite right and require a lot of massaging to make them look correct. A good example would be my rear bumper, once installed correct, looks great for behind but where it comes up by the wheel well it stick out about 2 inches. We had to build a custom bracket to make it sit in the correct position. I have no problem with this as its for my "track car" and the likely hood of it tapping a wall at some point is highly likely. Would i install these parts on my Porsche, nope...... not a chance. It is a perfect example of you get what you pay for.
Edited to correct wrong info
Nate - I was on eBay a few days ago and I'm pretty sure I saw some used factory pieces. That's how I found mine a few years ago.
Search "996 aero" and see what pops up for you. Good luck!
"Also to note.. Duraflex is the same type of material used for factory bumpers and will flex unlike most cheap fiberglass kits that will just crack."
^^^ Not really ^^^ Duraflex is aka FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic). It's more flexible than standard fiberglass but not as flexible as Poly-Urethane (
which is what the factory parts are made of
). All other points about fit and finish are right on. You need to do A LOT OF FITTING/FINISHING with Duraflex parts. If you can't do this work yourself it will cost you almost as much as the factory part in the long run.
