Suggestion
I have always wondered what the benefit is with using these even The on the track look cool for sure but have never tried because feel my feet will slide around.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone have the Rennline aluminum track mats in their car? I was thinking about using them as daily mats. Is that a bad idea? Im going to wait until they offer another 10% or 15% discount code, so Ive probably got time to decide if I want them or not.
I have them.
A couple years ago I keep them in for the entire summer, no issues.
They come with a velcro adhesive strip, you have to use it, in order for them to stay in place.
One downfall, if you are caught on the rain, and then step in the car, your wet shoe will slide on the aluminum.

maybe more answer than needed but..
They make it easy to have a dry surface if running a track day in wet weather,,
Quick towel off and you have a dry floor.
They also eliminate places for shoes to snag , When I build them I always put a
couple thin strips of friction tape across the panel behind where your feet usually
go so in the event of a crash you can crawl out better.
Oh and,,
Driving shoes are for driving not walking, don't wear them around at the track
use a set of cheap loafers to wonder around in..
Too easy to pick up oil or other stuff and slip on the pedals.
Yes, what PDX said. Also, as I was having more and more track days (with rain, mud, sand, etc....The carpet was taking a BEATING). The track mats make clean up a 5 second process.
I use them on street car. They do not move around and are very easy to keep clean. It is rare that the car sees is wet weather, so the slippery factor is not really an issue. All our other cars/trucks use WeatherTech.
PCA events, there can be no mats in the car, everything needs to be removed at tech inspection.
I have Savannah interior, it would be a disaster not to protect the rugs, so that's why I have them.
