Suggestion

I find it a bit worrisome that a maintenance facility cant figure out how to drain and fill a transaxle, or if that transaxle is even serviceable or is a lifetime sealed unit (like an Elise engine).

As the title says, how do I drain/fill my transaxle on a 03 tip? My indy and I have had it up on a lift looking for the drain/fill places, no can find. We looked in his Bentley manual and it doesn't have any pics. Anyone know how to do this? Pics if possible please!

I'm new to 911s, so perhaps I'm not well versed in the intricacies of these cars. That being said; I'm not new to cars or maintenance of them. I find it a bit worrisome that a maintenance facility cant figure out how to drain and fill a transaxle, or if that transaxle is even serviceable or is a lifetime sealed unit (like an Elise engine). Maybe it's just my natural skepticism of anyone who stands to profit from a lack of knowledge or skill.

Read that thread, no pics, they just say the drain is under the passenger side half shaft. Already looked there, didn't see a thing.

37-11 in the Bentley Manual Looks like a pan head screw with a star or triple square bit required.
