As for the steering click im gona see if i can take it to my buddys' shop and get it on a lift to check for anything loose.
Leading evidence: 'Check anything loose' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check anything loose' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Just to mention it, I did change my clutch slave and break fluid (same system) prior to this hoping it was that.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey guys this morning while I was in the drive through at starbucks I noticed that there is very faint chatter when the car is idling but as soon as I depress the clutch it goes away. Kind of like a Ducati dry clutch but not as loud. The only reason I noticed is because the noise was getting amplified from the drive through walls. So it could have been there for a while I just never heard it. Should I worry and start tearing the car apart KK style? Oh just an FYI I did my clutch, pressure plate, TB and got the flywheel resurfaced about 4K miles ago.
Second problem: As I was leaving the starbucks getting out of the drive way I took it at a very steep corner so I don't scrape my front lip and as I was straightening out of the corner there was barely noticeable click in the steering. I was able to replicate it a few times just going in and out of the driveway sideways. Any thoughts on what to look at and what might be causing it?
I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT STARBUCKS!!!
I don't remember if your car is RWD or a C4. When the FWD stuff was still in my 911, I got some extra pops and clicks when pulling out of driveways with the wheels almost at the stops.
A bearing in the transmission is probably on the way out. Mime does it too. Sounds like a release bearing but since mine was new, it still made that noise. Are the gears getting louder?
I would not bother with the chatter from the clutch. Keep in mind that there is a substantial mechanism that has different positions between engaged and disengaged. The clutch, fall out bearing and pressure plate, especially the pressure plate is quite heavy. Do think it is reasonable with a slight sound difference between engaged and disengaged.
As long as you do not get this sound, my old rusty barn door squeak sound.
The transmission once warmed up can rattle (chatter) a bit with the clutch released and the transmission in neutral. I hear this noise quit a bit with my Turbo. The rattle goes away as soon as I depress the clutch pedal and stays away though if I rev the engine some when the engine speed returns to idle sometimes the rattle reappears only to go away again when I depress then release the clutch pedal.
I really do not think there's any real concern about the faint chatter you report as long as the transmission shifts without any real drama and the transmission remains reasonably quiet as the car is going down the road, through turns, etc., and the clutch doesn't make any noise when you depress the clutch pedal and continues to engage with no grabbiness.
Also, be sure you adhere to that 2 year brake fluid and clutch fluid flush/bleed schedule.
As for the clicking noise it could come from a broken sway bar link or a worn or loose steering or front suspension bushing or possibly something else.
It needs to be investigated and to do this right the car needs to be looked at on the lift by a Porsche tech. There's not much you can see with the car on the ground. The tech knows all the places any abnormal noises can come from and he'll go through the list.
Thanks guys for all the input. I don't have lightway flywheel and the tranny shifts very smoothly without any gear noise or anything in that nature. Just that very faint chatter when in neutral and goes away when clutch depressed even very slightly and comes back as soon as i let go. As for the steering click im gona see if i can take it to my buddys' shop and get it on a lift to check for anything loose.
Okey, I'm not the only one then. I can tell you my story of my barn door syndrome. I got the local Porsche Centre to install a new Clutch kit, LN IMSB and RMS. After the installation I noticed the rusty barn door sound, only audible outside of the car or with the window down when proper warm. I could not bear it any more, and asked them to check it. They fixed it under repair work warranty and gave a somewhat foggy explanation. Basically the guy said the clutch arm was incorrectly assembled to the clutch resulting in an uneven clutch engagement/disengagement, and they lubed all contact points according to spec. This resulted in no more sound after several hours work for them with taking the gearbox out.
Just to mention it, I did change my clutch slave and break fluid (same system) prior to this hoping it was that. And they also did warranty work a second time when the new RMS failed six months later. Man if I had done the initial work at some other shop it would cost me enormous amounts of money. For big jobs in expensive places, always go to a certified Porsche Centre is my suggestion.
The steering wheel click happened again today and I noticed that when it clicked I also felt it on my clutch pedal, it did not feel like it was coming from the suspension. So now I'm thinking its most likely something with the steering column around the pedals. There is 2 ( I believe ) joints in that area that might be the culprit.
