Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm currently running the stock suspension and feel that this is definitely a worthwhile mod.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ive been tracking my car fairly often and try to do a mod or 2 each month. My first impression is that the motor has a lot less flex when stepping on the gas. Obviously, this is the desired effect. The shifting seems to be more precise as well. I noticed that the cabin vibrates a bit at higher speeds (85mph) but at lower speeds or at idle I do not feel any more vibration than with the stock mounts. All in all the drivetrain feels more raw which I like...
So far Ive only driven on the street. I have a DE this Saturday so I will be able to give some impressions of their behavior on track as well. From what Ive read the mounts should perform really well on track. Im just hoping I can live with them on a day to day basis.
Ill follow up on Saturday. Also, if any Rennlisters are driving the Homestead event this weekend please feel free to introduce yourself.
Cheers,
Carey
Pete, install is rather simple. First gain access to mounts by removing air box. Lift the engine enough to relieve the weight and then swap mounts one at a time. We used a lift which made access easier. Took about an hour. Take your time it'll go smooth.
Surprisingly my 9 year old mounts were in good shape...
Following up on my first comments... I tracked the car yesterday and was very pleased with the stiffer mounts. I noticed the car felt more like a single unit. There was no movement in the engine bay under aggressive braking and steering input. The car feels way more solid and predictable. I'm currently running the stock suspension and feel that this is definitely a worthwhile mod. Once I go to coil overs I believe the handling will be perfect for double duty. The RS mounts alone made me feel like I upgraded the suspension. My only negative comment for street use is over abrupt bumps or bad expansion joints on highway. The rear end will buck or bounce a little.
In my opening post I commented about vibration at higher speed, I'm now convinced that my Indy may have missed balancing a wheel when I switched to r comps. I noticed my steering wheel shaking at high speed. If I'm right and re-balancing will correct this issue, then I would definitely recommend this mod.
Hardback---what a beautiful ride! Did you paint the lower valances and front splitter?
I have thought of removing my wing ...I have always loved the rear end profile of the C4s!!
Thanks. I did not like the grey splitter and rocker panels. The body looks more defined now. I especially like how the splitter compliments the vents in the bumper.
