This was my clutch sound after a newly installed Clutch kit. They fixed it under repair work warranty for me.

Repairs in Portugal have a 2 year warranty, so I will go there tomorrow and fill a new complaint and request that they repair it under warranty.

Suggestion
Just to mention it, I did change my clutch slave and break fluid (same system) prior to this hoping it was that.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey everyone I'm new to rennlist, but i'm having an issue with my 1999 Carrera I was hoping someone could help me with.
My clutch recently started making a creaking noise sort of like a rusty door opening, when I press the clutch pedal in. It only makes the noise when the cars been warmed up, after about 30 min of use. It doesn't make any noises when in gear only when pressing the pedal to disengage the clutch.
Does anyone have any idea of what could be the issue?
It's coming from the spring helper mechanism that assists your left leg. Spray some Boeshield into the inside of the device thats says Do Not Lubricate and the noise may abate.
I was thinking that it could be the spring helper mechanism as well, but I can hear the noise when I'm not inside the car and the clutch is being pressed. It sounds like its coming from the rear, but regardless I'm going to attempt spraying the helper spring.
It makes the a "rusty barn door" noise when ever the clutch pedal is being pressed/released. Its only during the use of the pedal, not while normal driving periods and only once the car has been on for about 30 min
Hi is it like this?
Only audible on the outside of the car, and after been driven for a while with lots of fun-pedal action.
This was my clutch sound after a newly installed Clutch kit. They fixed it under repair work warranty for me. Unbearable sound.
Mine sounds exactly like the youtube video. New clutch kit installed in Lisbon's OPC in Nov 2012, 6k miles ago. Last year I complained and they told me it was "naturally" like that, as the car ages it looses lube on clutch parts... Some shady explication. Repairs in Portugal have a 2 year warranty, so I will go there tomorrow and fill a new complaint and request that they repair it under warranty. Thanks for the info. CS
It sounds exactly like the video. Do you know what the problem exactly was? Could it just be a lack of lubrication? I recently bought the car and according to the service history the clutch was done 20k ago, but other than that noise it works perfectly.
I got the local Porsche Centre to install a new Clutch kit, LN IMSB and RMS. After the installation I noticed the rusty barn door sound, only audible outside of the car or with the window down when proper warm. I could not bear it any more, and asked them to check it. They fixed it under repair work warranty and gave a somewhat foggy explanation. Basically the guy said the clutch arm was incorrectly assembled to the clutch resulting in an uneven clutch engagement/disengagement, and they lubed all contact points according to spec. This resulted in no more sound after several hours work for them with taking the gearbox out.
Just to mention it, I did change my clutch slave and break fluid (same system) prior to this hoping it was that. And they also did warranty work a second time when the new RMS failed six months later. Man if I had done the initial work at some other shop it would cost me enormous amounts of money. For big jobs in expensive places, always go to a certified Porsche Centre is my suggestion.
